Description: Yamuna, a prominent river of India covers an extensive area from Yamunotri glacier through six Indian states. Residues of endosulfan were analyzed in water of river Yamuna along its stretch passing through. The studies concluded that endosulfan remained below detection limits. Hence, the report clearly states the absence of endosulfan accumulation in water.
