Analisando-se a sociedade atual, observam-se transformações que incitam mudanças
profundas na vida humana individual e associada. O indivíduo nasce, educa-se, trabalha
e passa a vida ligado ás organizações, e estas, na realidade, são responsáveis pela
consistência do destino social. Os fatores sociais, políticos, econômicos e culturais da
sociedade contemporânea empregam mudanças significativas neste meio. Em tempos
passados era uma lenta absorção com pouca fonte de informação, muito distante do que
vemos hoje. As transformações são dinâmicas e vorazes em função das novas
tecnologias. A informatização, a globalização e a sociedade do conhecimento são alguns
fatores que estão pressionando a vida atual. Como decorrência, tem-se a consolidação
da era da incerteza, sobretudo nas mudanças profundas de valores e crenças pessoais e
culturais que marcam a sociedade atual.

The aim of this research was to use creative media approaches to engage
young people in expressing their opinions, experiences and suggestions
relating to the education system in Bristol, using St Pauls as the prime focus
as a case study.
The aim was to encourage young people to talk to their peers, parents and
education experts about this contentious issue, and also to provide a platform
to express their own views.
The main emphasis of this project was lead by young people with support by
Firstborn Creatives and support staff, who also held the responsibility of
taking the lead and driving the project forward throughout to reach the final
recommendations.
