I love all martial arts, especially karate . There are many different types of martial arts and I tried several , kung fu, judo, jui jitsu, tai chi and more, but something just clicked when I attended my first karate class. Now that is just me, you may click with judo, kung fu, tai chi, etc.

When attending a karate for beginners class, one of the first karate moves taught is Chokuzuki or straight punch.
Bassai Dai, literally translates "To Storm a Castle, major" or "To Penetrate a Fortress, major" is a kata practiced in Shotokan karate and is one of many variations of the Passai kata. There are two Bassai kata, the other one being Bassai sho, and although the "Sho" translates to "minor", it is taught after Bassai Dai.
