Ayn Rand, an American writer and philosopher, creator of the philosophical direction of objectivism, was born in Saint Petersburg in 1905. In 1926 Ayn emigrated To the United States. The novel “Atlas Shrugged” was the most outstanding masterpiece that made the writer known all over the world.
