Abstract
Climate change is a phenomenon that takes place cyclically every few hundred thousand years. However, what sets apart the climate change of this century is that the climactic change has largely been an outcome of human activities, which have given rise to the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. The increased temperature of earth has made observable impacts already, including melting of mountain glaciers, heavy downpours, extreme flooding and droughts, depletion and degradation of natural resources, and an increase in natural calamities.
