In general, I am quite impressed with the new and advanced changes in the way of communication. Progression of means of communication from face to face communication to emails, calls and video conferencing could guide the business world to an entirely new era.

Discussion

There is no denying that, face-to-face interaction has proved to be the basis of business related communication. Once it is conducted, it allows business partners to build more trust, articulate clearly and present ideas with minimum misunderstanding issues. However, if looked in terms of being a valuable means of communication especially from business point of views for longer term, I believe that, communication through different channels (email, text, phone and video conferencing) could prove to be far more reliable.
Perhaps, the most significant reason, why these channels could turn out to be more reliable, is due to their cost effectiveness. Communication through emails, phone calls and now video conferencing require solitary a network to be in touch that could save our company all the travel expenses that are done in order to carry out meetings all around the globe. These technological changes have transformed the business world into a global village.
Furthermore, these technologies could also assist our company in attaining a bigger stature, using email and phone marketing; we can augment our customer relationships by showing our availability all the time. For example; a well-written email could prove to be helpful for anyone anywhere in the world. In the same way, online and video conferences can save hours of flights in order to plan meetings for reaching decisions. Hence, all in all, it could letter to better customers satisfaction, enhanced relationship with clients and growth of the organization.

I would recommend this system of using email, phone and video conferences to be implement at all levels within the organization as it could prove to be highly advantageous to our organization’s growth.
