Google and DuckDuck Go
Compared to Google, DuckDuck Go is a relatively newer search engine. With Google having established its trustworthiness amongst its users, there are several reasons why people prefer DuckDuck Go. Firstly that it does not chase the IP address of a user or the search history from the browser. However, Google being the more powerful search engine has its own browser, Google Chrome where Google is present by default and if an additional search engine like DuckDuck Go has to be set as default, then it needs to be added manually. Secondly, DuckDuck Go can provide the user any information whether a website is down or running slow. Another similar yet different feature between the two is the feature of the calendar; where in Google one can’t view a calendar without being specific, DuckDuck Go is more specific and can help view the whole calendar for any date or year. DuckDuck Go has the added element of a stopwatch, where Google provides a ‘timer’. Google has the added values for correcting wrong spellings, phrasing questions for easier and quicker search and its biggest perfection is Google Maps. Also, Google has multifarious connections with other websites and pages and provides links from all possible sources that makes accessing the web much easier and rapid as compared to all other search engines. However, according to the policy of DuckDuck Go, the lesser the sites given, the higher results of better quality are shown, which is also beneficial.
In MS Excel, the three types of cell references are Relative, Absolute and Mixed Cell References. Relative will adjust the cell address according to the position when copied from one cell to another. These are convenient when we want to repeat one calculation over and over across the rows and columns. Absolute cell reference keeps the cell references same if it is copied or moved. They remain constant no matter what is shifted or moved. A mixed reference is a combination of relative and absolute cell references.
Examples of using these references in business are used for values like savings, profits, mutual funds where the values are placed with amounts of interest mentioned. At home, these can be used to calculate total amounts of expenditures and savings where all expenditures are mentioned according to their amount. They are easier to calculate with a spreadsheet.
