Introduction

Economies are merely concerned over their power of effectiveness and the tendency to increase the macroeconomic part of the country accordingly. Economics is the name of earning and consuming the money in a best possible manner (Johnson and Stoskopf, p.45). Policy Making and implantation are some of the major aspects that associated specifically with the field of Economics and management. The criteria of policy making and implementation can be applied over every department of an economy particularly, and it is equally applied over the Health Care Systems as well.
Theoretically, a system through which an economy tries to give health care strategies and effectiveness to their citizens is known as a Health Care System. Health Care systems are designed with such a mechanism through which health benefits can be given to the citizens compressively. The economies which have a cheaper health care system are comparatively effective in terms of Heath and Development Index (HDI) as compared those economies have a low point scoring in this particular provision.
The health care system of the United States (US) is one of the largest health care systems of the world. It is also known as most expensive health care systems in the entire world. As per estimation, the health care system of the United States is comparatively 45% expensive than the health care system of any other country of the world, and the level to access highly effective health care benefits is on a lower scale than other economies of the world (Jonas, Goldsteen and Goldsteen, p.12).
The main theme of this paper is to initiate a comparative analysis of the health care system of the United States with some of the different countries of the world, specifically the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development (OECD) countries. The entire assignment is divided into three different parts known as Introduction, Analysis & findings and conclusion.

Analysis and Findings

The United States of America (USA) that commonly known as the United States is a federal republic. It is known as the largest economy of the world in terms of Gross National Product (GNP) and Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) (Jonas, Goldsteen and Goldsteen, p.12). It is also known as the most developed nation of the world that surrounds with lots of organizations. The Government of the U.S. is very strong and committed to their job as far as satisfying the needs of their citizens. Health Care is one of the most important and basic necessities of an individual which cannot be forget from any angle. It will be worthwhile for this assignment to have a detail analysis of the health Care System of the United States, and then move towards the other analytical factors.

Health Care System in the United States: A Detailed Analysis

Health care in the United States is provided by many of the operating distinct organizations. Private Sector has a definite eminence over the Public Sector in the United States as far as giving health care functions and facilities. Likewise any other country of the world, the health care system of the United States is bifurcated among three different categorizes which are as follows
It is clear from the aforementioned diagram that the proportion of Not for Profit organization in the entire Health Care System of the United States is the highest with a proportion of 58%, while both public and private organization has a net proportion of 21% each (Jonas, Goldsteen and Goldsteen, p.58).
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the United States of America spent more than (8,000 $) from the per capita income of each individual than any other nation of the world. The proportion to Health care to GDP of the country is also the highest as compared to any other country of the world, as it accounts for 17.2% in the financial year 2011. America is known as world leader in terms of innovating and manufacturing the medicated products. For their innovation and manufacturing of state of the art medicated products in the market, United States had received numerous Nobel Prizes in the field of Medicine than any other country of the world (Shi and Singh, p.34).
Regardless with the fact of having a powerful health care system, the United States does not guarantee access to health care to its population in a lower price. The officials of the country are now interacting with other to change their health care system as early as can; otherwise it will create numerous challenges for them in the future.
The health care think tanks initiated a reported last year in which referred the United States on the last stage in terms of providing health care benefits. The country was compared with 10 different western countries of the world, and found the United States as the most expensive one. The report also revealed that the U.S. is also the only country that spent the largest amount of their GDP on their Health Care System with a high demand and number of physicians, but still the health care system is not as productive and effective as compared to other countries system of the world (Shi and Singh, p.65).
Apart from the United States (U.S), France and Netherland also have the most expensive health care system prevalence within their country, but the levels of services against the money charge are exceptional. On the other hand Australia, Canada and Germany have the cheapest health care system availability for their populations that made them effective and eminent within the eyes of the people. This is yet another reason behind the escalating amount of migrations in these regions as compared to the United States. The U.S. is doing an excellent job as far as providing the preventive care and patient centered care as revealed in the report, but still the policy makers are unable to maintain strong significance among their services. Shortage of Primary Physicians especially for the poor people and low income individuals is one of the major problems highlighted in the analysis of the health care system of the United States (Shi and Singh, p.98).
The Government of the United States, which known as the strongest government for their citizens in terms of retaliating the terrorist activities totally lags behind in providing a perfect and organized health care system. Government of the United States has the ability to set specific standards, provide incentives and exact the penalties for the poor performance that represent various parts of their medical system (Shi, Singh and Shi, p.12).
People think that with the incremental amount of health care system is an alternative to give highly effective and mobilized health care services in the region, but the reality is totally against it, as the functionality and operational capability of the health care system of the United States (US) is very cheap and ineffective in the market as compared to the OECD countries of the world. There are three OECD countries have been selected for the analysis to compare their health care system with that of the system of the United States, to recommend powerful strategies to them company to overcome the problems.

Health Care System of Germany

Germany has a powerful, effective and universal multi-player health care system in the world with having two main functions which are “Law-enforced health insurance” and “Private Insurance”. Compulsory insurance applies over those individuals who are earning lower than a certain standard level that provide specifically by the Not for Profit Organizations through their “Sickness Funds”.
In terms of economic well being, the health care sector of Germany accounts for US$ 368.78 billion by the end of the financial year that has a proportion of almost 12% with the total GDP of the country. Unlikely the United States, the health care system of Germany is funded 77% with the Government based funds, while only 23% funded through the private medication and hospitalization (Porter and Guth, p.45). The number of practical physicians is also comparatively higher than that of the amount found specifically in the region of the United States. Hence, Germany is providing cheaper healthcare system to their population as compared to the United States.

Health Care System of Australia

Likewise the United States and Germany, health care in Australia is provided by both private and Government institutions. Medicare is the publically funded Universal Health Care System in the Australian region which was intuited in the year 1984. Unlikely the Health Care System of the United States and Germany, the Government of Australia gives a sort of levy to their citizens to use the health care system of the country (Willis, Reynolds and Keleher, p.20). There is no amount of conflict found among the management of health care in public companies as well in the private based companies, and they are doing an exceptional job as far as enhancing the shaping the entire health care policy. Though the amount of physicians is very low but they are very effective and dedicated towards their duties. The level of life expectancy within the region of Australia is the highest as compared to other western countries of the world.

Heath Care of Russia

The Healthcare System of Russia is the most productive and effective as compared to any other country of the world, as the country is providing free of cost health care facility to their citizens under the Mandatory medical insurance act 1996 (Johnson and Stoskopf, p.104). The mount of doctors, physicians and nurses in the region is very high and effective. The best thing associated with health care system of the country is that they provide effective health care service to both urban and rural areas free of cost.

Conclusion

The provision of health care system can be extremely essential and effective for different countries of the world. A perfect health care system is very important for an economy to strengthen their position among the industry. The main theme of this paper is to analyze the health care system of the United States by comparing its health care system with some of the major health care system of the world like Germany, Australia and Russia. From this analysis, it is evaluated that the health care system of Russia is comparatively the most powerful and effective as compared to other countries.
