In the spread of the religion, it is essential for the preachers to put the words into context to deliver the right message to the people. In many circumstances, different people tend to interpret the same teachings differently. Nevertheless, the different cultures could also interpret the same words differently leading to the confusion among the people (Harrison, 2006). As a result, confusion arises in most people due to the failure to differentiate between the secular and the religious. Therefore, he preachers need to understand the different cultures that people practice to know the language to use and how to use it.
Consequently, the different cultures have different meanings about religions thereby creating the disparity. Therefore, different cultures have different meanings about the religions. As a result, some philosophers needed to apply some sanity and come to an agreement on what was the region. However, the definitions given did not match with that in the dictionary thereby creating more questions and mystery about religion. Therefore, the practices of the preachers should match those in the holy books to paint a clear picture of how the religious people should conduct themselves (Harrison, 2006). Therefore, integrating religion and the people’s culture helps to convince and win their loyalty thereby end up listening to the word and teachings. The citizenry expects the preachers to respect their culture; therefore, the incorporation of the cultural practices helped the people develop a sense of belonging.
Nevertheless, the challenge of matching the religion to the developments and the changes in the world has also arisen. Some people argue that the religion should never change and that it should remain rigid to allow the people to change their evil ways. However, diversifying the meaning of the religion also helped people understand its meaning and appreciate it. Nevertheless, the philosophers are bound to face challenges and to surround themselves with controversies based on their explanation. Nonetheless, religion has instilled some moral values in most of the people thereby improving and upholding the societal values. As a result, the religion has helped in the eradication of the social evils due to the continuous condemnation of the evil acts.
Consequently, the religion has proven that different people interpret the religion differently, and no one has come up with a solid answer that all the people agree with it. Therefore, when handling the religion, the preachers should consider the culture practices of the different communities. On the other hand, people have not also identified the distinction between the secular institutions and the religious ones thereby deepening the mystery about religion (Harrison, 2006). As a result, those from the secular world have intensified the disagreement between the two, and no one can cite a clear definition because the definitions given range from academic, purposeful and operational. As a result, it increases the diversity in religion.
In summation, people should accept that different people have different religion meanings because it reduces the conflict between religion and the secular worlds. The definitions given are not adequate; therefore, the researchers should continue researching about the meaning. Additionally, most researchers tend to give the definition under the influence of their emotions thereby interfering with the result. As for now, the definition is still unclear. As a result, the religious people should never reject or condemn anyone who claims that religions do not exist and vice versa.
