The common name of the organism is common octopus. Its scientific name is Octopus vulgaris.

Common octopus is found in Class Cephalopod, Order Octopoda, Family Octopodidae, Genus Octopus, and species vulgaris. Habitat   Octopus vulgaris inhabits almost all oceans of the world with tropical and semitropical waters.
