Additionally, they are committed at preserving capital such as forest and lastly they are committed at providing meaningful and accurate information and dialogue.
The company believes that it needs a successful society for it to be successful also in business. Through the production of healthy and nutritious products the company ensures that there is sustainable social development (Nestle’, 2012). The company also equips farmers with modern training and equipments to improve the agriculture in the society and this promotes sustainable development (Nestle, 2015). The company is also on the forefront on fighting child labor in farms and this will enable children go to school and become meaningful people in future rather than their talents being wasted in farms. Lastly the company has been on the forefront to make sure that its products have not led to deforestation in any way. The company is also committed at empowering the women since it believes that when you empower or educate a woman you have educated the society (Nestle, 2015).
These initiatives relates to the company’s principles, values and culture in competing in the food industry in the sense that, when it trains and equip farmers with modern tools and equipments, it will it will be assured that they will supply quality farm produce and it is the policy of the company to use quality raw materials to produce the final product (Nestle, 2015). Once the final product is of high quality then it will have an edge in the market over its competitors. It also relates to the principle of the company to maintain a sustainable environment by improving the lives of the community around it
