Good Essay On Cultural Globalization

In my opinion, globalization is a fast process of rapprochement and mutual understanding of all people on Earth (sooner or later), by means of various mechanisms and in various spheres of life. Globalization can be economic, social, religious. I want to pay attention to cultural globalization what this term means and how I understand and I perceive it.
Encyclopædia Britannica gives us such definition - “Cultural globalization, a phenomenon by which the experience of everyday life, as influenced by the diffusion of commodities and ideas, reflects a standardization of cultural expressions around the world” (“Cultural globalization”).
In my opinion, this definition is correct because, globalization in the cultural sphere it first of all is our everyday life. Firstly, it is food which we eat. Secondly, it is our preferences - music, art, sport. Without all these concepts, we couldn't imagine today's world around us. But here it is worth emphasizing that not each culture or a trend can apply for a title of "global". In present conditions only the strongest and the most persistent wins.
Once I came across the photo on the Internet which I remembered in the context of globalization. It showed an exhausted Chinese in clothes, traditional for them, and near him two refrigerators with "Coca-Cola" and "Pepsi" were represented. After viewing of this photo I understood how far our world, our world cultures and outlooks approach, and, in my opinion, it is right, as the population of Earth every time increases and to us, it is necessary to study living in peace and friendship together.
