Introduction

The proposal aims at answering the question ‘should the college of business expand the learning support services it offers or not?’ The question’s answer automatically becomes yes since the college considers itself as being diverse and has many different students from across the world. In the programs they offer, the college only spans only up to five departments that entail marketing and entrepreneurship, marketing. Also included are decision and information science, finance and accountancy and taxation which do not give the full coverage of what business field should involve. A business career requires an integration of what issues of money entail in every aspect of life. Therefore, more departments that deal with particular fields or areas should be instituted to help fill the gap. The college does not also offer courses for those who did not meet the cut-off entry but may have the passion for pursuing the field. Therefore courses other courses to be offered to diploma or certificate level to enable these people reach their dreams.
The college can also be considered to be doing little in getting in touch with the students by only having one base where all the services can are accessible. The college should consider opening institution branches in almost a standard identified region in all parts of the world. The move will reduce the costs incurred by the students as they travel to the particular base in Houston University in the USA. It also has some specific requirements that some students may not meet considering the diversity that exists among the students. Students only get information about the co-operate world when the school career is conducted. That means there is minimal information about the world of work. Transfer of credit also takes several steps making it difficult for students who wish for an equivalent but do not meet some of the requirements based on the diversity that exists among them(Kenneth and Ronald 67).
Considering the first concerns about programs the college should create more courses related to what they have but in different fields. The data during the fiscal year 2014 shows 1419 undergraduates in business administration shows that the management of the college mostly focuses on one area at the expense of other areas of interest. The business administration became second after class at 2422 students that graduated. The university administration should consider offering knowledge to those who scored lower grades. The evidence from the degrees award of fiscal year 2014 does not have courses that are a diploma or certificate oriented. On the opening branches, the college administrators to consider bringing the knowledge nearer to the clients by establishing them in areas that have more students attending the courses offered. For example from the enrolment rate in fall 2014 facts, it notes that Hispanic students come for the course more than any other American (Kenneth and Ronald 97). Despite the fact that the college is in USA, their enrolment is still small.
The career services that the college provides are not comprehensive. It is supported by the spring 2014 career counseling and internships. These students only come to know these employers when there are such events. The college should have counseling department and together with career staff impart females with knowledge. The fall 2014 data indicate that more males enrolled than women especially from the whites. Therefore, the career staff should infuse the information in the contents they are to implement during class work. In the transfer of the credits, several procedures are involved making it difficult and hectic. The college should not be considering to be presented by various documents that some cannot be gotten from other foreign students forcing them to take exams (Kenneth and Ronald 67).
In conclusion, the change in degree provision to include various life perspectives and the diversity of students will make the students gain a lot by exchanging their knowledge from their different backgrounds. Therefore, there should be an expansion in the students’ services provision according to the current changing dynamics of job stings. The policies of college should be reviewed to accommodate the students various individual needs at their level of performance.
