Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) are terms used to describe technologies which enable armed forces to deploy information gathering devices and managing the data collected. Intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance information is gathered in the battlefield through physical observations by soldiers, spies, or electronic sensors.
