I really liked the paper. I thought it presented a large amount of information that was relevant and pertained to the topic. Also, I was interested in it because I learned something. I know a little something about fires, but I liked how the writer used the example of Sharon related to how dangerous these old homes can be. Overall, I enjoyed the content and the subject matter. It almost made me want to learn more about firefighting!
Anytime something is written, unfortunately, it is never perfect. That is unless you are F. Scott Fitzgerald or Ernest Hemingway, which certainly are not. I think you could switch some parts around unless the format is specific. By that I mean link the introduction to the body of the paper rather than explain the methodology in there. Also, there is a lot of great information in the paper but a lot of it is not cited correctly. Therefore, we don’t know where you received your data from.
Grammatically speaking, the paper flows pretty well and there are not very many spelling mistakes. The only problem I see is trying to use too much verbiage to explain your topic. I like that approach and write the same way, but I know a lot of people don’t and they make say it makes the paper hard to read or you are cluttering it up with pithy vocabulary. Otherwise, I think this a neat paper. The topic is interesting and the data is great. It is obvious some work was placed in the assignment and it definitely shows. All it requires is a touch up, some citations inserted and maybe some adjusting of paragraphs to link all it together cleanly then you are in excellent shape.
