Second Part

The disturbances in the relationships that happen in the plotline of most drama stories are caused by one of the characters messing up with the feelings of another character. This, in turn, leads to a crisis because the character who got messed up by the other character often acquires the reason to seek revenge or do something that is equivalent to what the other party has done, thereby triggering a chain reaction of disturbances. Sometimes, the main causes of the disturbances in the plotline’s happenings are directly showed in the story and sometimes, they are not. The common denominator however is that they all lead to crises. These crises are often resolved when the anger or the strong urge to revenge of the affected parties get relieved or in some cases, when the target of the vengeance dies or suffers enough. In most daytime drama stories, women are the ones who get affected initially and as a result, they also get to be the ones who seek vengeance.
Most characters in modern daytime dramas start off or initially appear as low class or low profile characters. In fact, they do have to belong to that lower class of character profiles because the audience would not be able to feel any drama if the main characters belong to higher class character levels. In order for any particular scene to create real drama, one character, and this is often the main character, has to be the underdog. In this case, one of the common settings in daytime drama stories is to assign a low profile to the main character and a high profile to the villains or the instigators.
Second Part
A short survey that aimed to determine the public opinion on romance novels was conducted. A total of five people were asked if they were reading this particular genre of novels. Out of the five people asked, only two people admitted that they were reading romance novels at the time the questions asked. It is important to note also that of the five people asked, four people admitted that they were able to read a romance novel at least once during the past two years. Also, of the five people interviewed in the short survey, only one person gave opinion about romance novels (which was by the way negative) despite the fact that that person has not read even a single romance novel. This may imply that romance novel readers are fairly common.
Dissatisfactions in romance novels are common. One of the most common is the bad ending. Most romance novels want the story to end with joy and success. However, most writers of novels in this genre want to incorporate some twist, most of which may seem too unorthodox for some average readers. This is one of the most common sources of dissatisfaction among romance novel readers. Another cause would be the use of overly common plots. Most romance novel readers want something that is unique and complex. However, most writers could not afford to provide these ideas in their works and so in the end the readers get dissatisfied. There are, of course, other possible causes of dissatisfaction among romance novel readers but these two appear to be the most common.
