While it is a fact that speed limiters are designed to reduce accidents, it does not imply that a particular vehicle has to maintain the same speed in all conditions. Sometimes it may not be safe to drive at certain speeds. Speed limits depend on the type of road and the type of vehicle. However, most vehicles that carry less than eight passages usually do not have speed limits. Therefore, if these equipments are designed to reduce accidents, then why not put them in all types of vehicles. They should promote self-compliance because drivers are usually the ones to decide which speed to travel in.
