“The US Federal Government budget has expanded so significantly that it compromises the efficiency of the Private Market”

I disagree with this statement. To begin with, it is apparent that the US Federal Government budget has expanded over the last ten years. Most of these increases/ expansion have been experienced in the security and health sector, while other sectors have experienced relative budget cuts. There are also proposition to cut budgets on certain issues such as health care and social security by 2024. The expanding budget can be attributed to rapid population growth and increasing demand for certain public resources and services. Despite the fact that the US Federal Government budget has expanded, it would be considered a farfetched idea to argue that these expansions have compromised the efficiency of the private sector. Government budgets are formulated and implemented to assist the public; this means that most of the financial resources allocated to these budgets are channeled towards public institutions and other government affiliate departments. In this regard, these budgets have limited or no significant impact on private sectors. It is a fact that spending on certain aspects of health such as the Medicare and Medicaid has been criticized for government over-expenditure; however, this is not an indication of compromised private sector efficiency. The private sector has its independent budget and considering the fact that the United States population is undergoing a rapid increase, the private sector still has a conducive operational environment characterized by ever increasing needs. That is, with increasing population and demand for public resources, private sectors benefit from an expanding market, thus enhanced efficiency. Therefore, the statement would have been valid were happened that expanding government budgets had a direct impact on private sector or the capacity of the public to seek services from the private sector.
