Storytelling helps in establishing personal brand, but there are certain changes that need to be made based on where it is being used. A good story can refresh interviewees. However, interviewer needs to mind the kind of story that he is telling because the interviewer really has to be able to relate it easily with the questions that are being asked. A gap between the two can lead to de-shaped responses.
