The geographical location and immigrant policies of the country have always made the country a viable option for migration. Even though, the timely political, economical and social factors impact the flow of international immigrants to the country, but on the whole the comprehensive approach of the government has always rendered favorable influence on country labelling it as a country of immigrants. Hence, the remittance flows generated from emigrants have been a noticeable source of revenue from the year 1960. When observed from the approach of migration it can be stated that the political, economical and social factors are responsible for the core for immigration to the county and internal immigration, as well. The analysis of internal migration within the country makes it evident that the factor of modernization has triggered the elements of industrialization, urbanization and subsequent environmental changes. The result can be observed the noticeable internal migration based over individual consideration segmented in the reasons of work, education and incremental factors. The core immigration is from rural areas directed towards a destination in the light of the respective priorities. For example, Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir are the target of internal immigrants migrating for the purpose of education. Likewise, Antalya and Muagla the cities in the south of Anatolia are preferred immigrants migrating for purposes of health considerations. Thus, it can be observed that the flow of internal immigration is directed with particular motivators or considerations that behold it’s necessary for the dwellers. The illustrated macro factors have considerably changed the priorities of the individual making it essential for them to shift or immigrate to other locations for better prospects. In particular, these motivators in the segments of work, education and environmental factors result in immigration. Hence, it is the intensity of the necessity of an element that segregates the viability of the decision in the segment of voluntary or forced immigration. Thus, it can be observed that the flow of internal immigration is directed with particular motivators or considerations that behold it’s necessary for the dwellers. The illustrated macro factors have considerably changed the priorities of the individual making it essential for them to shift or immigrate to other locations for better prospects. In particular, these motivators in the segments of work, education and environmental factors result in immigration. Hence, it is the intensity of the necessity of an element that segregates the viability of the decision in the segment of voluntary or forced immigration.
The internal migration of the country could be studied from the observation of active pull factors that could could be regarded as agents of migrations. In context to internal migration, it is already mentioned that the primary elements of the ‘Push and Pull’ Factors pertain to opportunities over the sphere of work, education and environmental factors. The essence of the factors in reference to favorable and unfavorable attributes determines the horizon of a factor. As stated above, the opportunities of education are considerably favorable at Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir. Hence, it is a pull factor for people of other locations across the country but a push factor for the residents of the referred city. Hence, the priorities of individual and attributes of location are the core elements that determine the outline of push and pull factors of a location. Perhaps, the era in between the year 1960 to 1980 the internal immigration of the country can be observed in the study of the contextual push and pull factors. The technological advancement and developing opportunities in the urban areas of the country served as motivators and resulted in mass migration from rural areas to the urban locations.
