Question one:

In order to clearly identify if each of the process and products are RCRA hazardous waste, it is important and necessary to determine the true meaning of hazardous waste and for that case RCRA hazardous waste. Therefore, the term hazardous waste is a term that can be used to refer to a waste with specific properties that render it harmful and dangerous to the environment or the human health. On the other hand, a material is considered to be a RCRA hazardous waste if it is a solid waste and can come in the form of refuse, garbage, and other discarded materials ("RCRA Subtitle C | Region 6 | US EPA", 2015). They are governed by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).
An empty pesticide container qualifies to be a hazardous waste because it is harmful to the environment and human beings. Due to its initial contents that are manufactured for industries, it qualifies to be an RCRA hazardous waste classified under the F list.
Municipal water containing 2.0 mg/L cannot be considered as an RCRA hazardous waste because all wastes within this class have to be any material that is a waste and has a capacity ranging from 40 CFR §261.2 and above. For this case, Municipal water containing 2.0 mg/L does not qualify as an RCRA waste product ("RCRA Subtitle C | Region 6 | US EPA", 2015).
A dry cleaner that produces 10kg/Mo of carbon tetrachloride at the same time wishes to store for six months can be considered as an RCRA, which exceeds the standard 40 CFR §261.2 of hazardous content.

Question two:

The fluorescent bulbs, in this case, are classified under the mercury-containing light bulbs and have to observe specific Code of Federal Regulations that is concerned about the environment and the well-being of people. According to Title 40 of the CFR subpart a section 273.4, it is clear indicated that mercury-containing equipment has specific regulations. In this section, it is described under Section 3c that mercury-containing equipment becomes entirely a waste on the specific date the handler decides to discard it ("STANDARDS FOR UNIVERSAL WASTE MANAGEMENT", 2015). Therefore, the number of fluorescent bulbs can be kept until the time of disposal for them to be considered as hazardous wastes that could be harmful to individuals, as well as their environment.

Question three:

The term LD50 is a calculated abbreviation that is used for cases of the term Lethal Dose, 50% or sometimes referred to as the median lethal dose. It can be described as the amount of a substance that is measured per weight of the body that is applied to kill 50% of the test population. An argument that is presented in a way that explains LD50 values 2, 3, 7, 8,-TCDD as the most toxic chemical could be misleading. The best scientific context to describe the chemical would be describing it as the most potent compound which could also be identified in chemistry as a congener if it’s main series of polychlorinated dibenzodioxins generally known as PCDD or dioxins ("STANDARDS FOR UNIVERSAL WASTE MANAGEMENT", 2015). The chemical has a polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxin.

Question four:

Identifying one drum with a multimillion company completely makes them liable to make the cleaning process. All manufacturing companies should be aware of their obligations to make their environments clean. In the event they fail, they should be responsible for their actions.

Question five:

Bioremediation is a specific waste management technique that incorporates the use of organisms in its operations neutralizes remove pollutants from an area that is contaminated. Various genetic engineering processes are involved in the VOC technology process to remove the contaminants. The use of natural bioremediation is the most effective where living organisms are easily obtained and can be used to remove contaminations in an area.
