Na’vi (Homo Pandorum) are the race of sapient bipedal extraterrestrial humanoids. They are indigenous inhabitants of the moon of Pandora. They usually live in the rainforest. However, some clans were found other less convenient regions such as mountains and swamps. (Avatar Wiki, 2015) Average Na’vi are about 3 meters high, weight about 162 kg (heavier than average humans because gravity is 0.8 Earth) and his skin is striped blue because of cyanin. Evolutional dimorphism caused differences in Na’vi’s sizes for males and females. They adapted to breath in an atmosphere, which contains less oxygen than on Earth. The eyes are yellow. They resemble humans with a pair of eyes, arms, and legs. A face expression is also recognizable. Unlike humans, Na’vi possess a long movable tail (used for balance), catlike teeth and nose, mobile ears (James Cameron’s Avatar). Besides, Na’vi have only four fingers with opposable thumbs and four toes, which are necessary as the majority of clans live on the trees. Reproduction process is similar to Terran mammals. Yet, they are not placental mammals. Na’vi are slimmer than humans and their bodies are reinforced because carbon fiber occurred naturally in their bodies as an adaptation to gravity issues. Moreover, their genetic code is not a DNA and their cell nucleus does not operate with nucleic acids. According to one theory, Na’vi diverged from blue lemurs or other primates, so their adaptive evolutionary process resembles the human ones. The presence of a queue supports that the clans are initially from Pandora. Queue is a special organ. Actually, it is a group of nerve endings protected by hair at the top of the back. Queue is compatible with other lifeforms including trees.
