Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to discuss the effects of type D personality on the development of cardiovascular diseases. This paper discusses how the study was conducted and it compares the results obtained with statistics on the possession of type D personality by heart diseases patients and how it affects their morbidity and mortality rates. The chi square test of independence is used to test if there is a significant difference between the variables gender and type D personality.
