Parenting is the complicated and difficult job which requires the parent to be responsible for raising a child with all the essentials of a good person. A good parent is the one who has successfully drawn the line between the dos and don’ts for the child and make the child follow it without letting the child feel in a prison. Parents face day to day consequences which need them to work on in order to bring up the child with all concern and care. The parents have to keep their all senses working for the child so that they are capable of solving the child’s problems and setting certain rules for their benefit. Child encounters variable fears during his lifetime for various issues. It is important for the parent to judge the fear and help the child to overcome it. The good parent allows the child to speak up for his fear and listens with complete concern. Then by suggesting ways can help the child with his fear. The child who is afraid of dogs can be encouraged to see its picture first and by step by step, the fear can be overcome. The children are fond of playing and will leave the chores for play. Parents can set rules for them in this regard by making them finish their chores before going to play. This is necessary for the child to realize their responsibility which will be beneficial in life ahead (Fairy, 1998). Parents are required to upbring the child with care and discipline. Discipline is necessary for the child to fit in the real world but forcing the child to obey cannot help. The child must be told the outcomes of the consequences in order t stop them from doing a certain thing (Anonymous, 2004). Personal experience reveals that kids usually damage the toys and demands for new ones. Consequently, explaining the child that breaking the toys will lead to no toys available for play can make them feel the importance of toys. Parenting is not easy but keeping the child at first place for everything and seeing the perspectives of children can help in becoming a good parent.
