Based on the sales experience which store would you recommend and why?
I would recommend Lithia Motors to the prospective customers. Though the store is limited in the options available; their approach to the customer is the best. Piling et al (1999) point out that a mark of great salesmanship is the ability to answer questions, eliminate resistance and close deals. The individualized system taken by Lithia Motors for the interaction between customers and sales people is more likely to bring out these characteristics of the sales people. Honesty is another value important in sales relationship with the customers. Goff et al., (1994) suggest that this can only be achieved through an interaction at the personal level. Here, the sales man can get what the customer needs and offer the required help. There is a higher chance that in Lithia Motors, a customer will be more likely to get their appropriate car based on the information given by the sales man.
