This book provides the definition of stress, and it explains how daily commuting can cause stress that lead to health conditions.

Stress is caused by numerous factors that range from our daily interactions with other human beings to situations that we experience. Individuals can experience stress as they commute to work when their car breaks down or are held up in traffic. Other causes include too many responsibilities at work or working for long hours for health workers. Stress can likewise be caused by compulsory hospitalization of mentally unstable patients. Stress can result in diseases like central serous chorioretinopathy that is characterized by blurred visions. Stress can be experienced at work or home. Therefore, it is important to look out for signs of stress and prevent them.
