This article gives an inherent insight into the harmful effects of usage of inevitable pesticides and insecticides on bees and their communities leading to collapse of their built colonies and a tremendous amount of decrease in their population found in the wild conditions. The author have introduced the report by making a crisp statement that the primary source of demise of the bees and collapse of their communities are pesticides used. Thereafter, the report gives a detailed and thorough research by the means of graphs, diagrams and other visual aids that presented the enhanced influence of pesticides on the life of bees and also analyzed the content of the pesticide material that one bee has to live with in the areas where there is excessive use of those pesticides and where they are constantly sprayed over the crops or flowers that the bees feed upon.
The horrendous truth behind the theory is that innumerous bees die because of drinking contaminated nectar from the flowers and picking up the spoiled and harmful residue which is affected by the pesticide substances and particles. The pesticides are damaging the ability of the honeybees to gather their food in the form of nectar and are also killing them as a result. Pesticides are also targeting the brain of the bees with special targets being young bees giving a final ultimatum to the whole bee population. The bees tend to slow down their learning and in certain cases forget the important relations and associations between their caliber to nectar and the floral scent. Signs have also showed that bees feeding on contaminated nectar or pollen forage less and therefore, produce lesser number of offspring that is again a major threat to the bee population.
Therefore, this report is able to draw the direct interrelation of mysterious vanishing of honeybees from their hives with the extensive use of insecticides and pesticides. This article also lays focus over the ways in which bees can be exposed to the negative influences of a plan protection strategy.
The report focuses over quantitative analysis and statistical studies done to relate the harmful effects of pesticides over the bees in the entire world. It has been a matter of widespread concern since almost about three quarters of the food crops across the entire globe requires pollination and due to contaminated nectar and pollens, bees are dying giving a global threat to agriculture and food crop growth.
The conclusion of the report was that about 18 compounds out of many of the researched ones of widespread pesticides used across the globe pose a severe threat and danger to the worker bees that collect the nectar for the hives and only an amount of five insecticides pose a risk which is almost less than even 5%.
Therefore, this article is a direct exposure of quantitative studies carried out to showcase the potential danger hovering over bees and their communities in the form of pesticides used. The fact cannot be disagreed by any of the person because of strong, foundational and relevant data which is accumulated from various sources. This study including the qualitative and quantitative analysis draws a complete picture of the contemporary issue of widespread concern and global threat. This report is remarkable in finding out the amount, the types and percentage of pesticides that are being extensively used on a routine basis and are harming bees. The statistics also revealed the amount of the pesticides that would be detrimental to the well being of the bees. Therefore, as a whole, this study is about risk assessment done for the bee population.
The content and theme of the article is being well explained and presented in a complete and comprehensive scientific research format. The study is relevant to the bee keepers and apiary farmers as well as to the environmentalists that are concerned closely with the problems faced by the world and our environment due to human intervention.
The article made me ponder about the multi dimensional harms that arise out of use of pesticides and also arise a concern for the bees that are an integral component of the food chain. A vast proportion of mankind in hindering the environment and some of the key components of the ecosystem so as to gain some immediate gain for the increased harvest. But in turn, farmers are unaware of the future threat they are reaping by spraying pesticides over the crops leading to death and brutal killing of bees.
This article is a well researched answer to all the questions arising out of mysterious deaths of honeybees. The main thing to focus is that which type of bees are affected most by which type of pesticide so as to formulate strategies to reduce the use of pesticides and save the bee population from demise. Bees being the carriers of pollens are affected by it so would be other insects, animals or birds and hence, it would be useful to know the effect of pesticides over other beings and how they affect their nutrition.
