Lighting Up the Interior Parts of Homes Using Ceiling Light Fixtures
Introduction
Ceiling light fixtures can improve the quality of lighting within homes in a unique ways. Since ceiling lighting originates from the topmost section of a room, it is a vital factor for consideration when designing interior lighting for homes. Ceiling fixtures can have various benefits some of which include impressive lighting quality within homes, increased floor space, and an exploitative sense of style for these homes (Volpe 16).

Statement of Need

There is an increasing need for improving the interior designs of homes. One of the elemental aspects of the improvement of homes is the issue of lighting. Many individuals prefer lighting systems in their homes. As such, this project will be significant for such people. The use of ceiling light fixtures will help annihilate the problem of poor lighting systems and qualities in homes.

Project Description

This project will encompass three significant stages over seven weeks. The first stage will involve the identification of homes for improvement. This stage will take two weeks in which interested individual homes for improvement will be identified. The second stage will be the gathering of the equipment, which will be the ceiling light fixtures and will take place over two weeks. The last stage will be the installation of the ceiling light fixtures in these homes and will take place three weeks.

The lighting power of ceiling light fixtures is limitless; their transformative capabilities within homes can be seen at the ceiling. Glistening crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceilings may change the dark living rooms into grand arrays of light. In addition, linear suspensions hanging over the pool table area can make the rest of the room seem dark while concentrating light on the pool table (Volpe 18). Thus, ceiling lighting fixtures can provide lighting in a way that suits the requirements of specific rooms in homes and thus reflect a distinctive aspect in each one of them.
Ceiling light fixtures are quite useful when other lighting fixtures such as floor lamps may be inappropriate, such as with the kitchen area where floor space is often important or with hallway lighting where walking space is narrow. Flush mounts and semi-flush mounts, which are designed to stay close to the ceiling, can help brighten hallways and bedrooms with low ceilings, whereas linear suspensions can provide convenient lighting for kitchen tasks. Therefore, depending on the distance of the ceiling from the floor area, one can have light fixtures that provide the desired lighting level and increases floor space at the same time.

Apart from the provision of the functional lighting, these ceiling light fixtures can enhance the quality of decor in the homes with a preferred sense of style.
