Good Admission Essay On Minority Access Internship Program

I am a transfer student from Essex County with an associate degree in Information Systems. I am a sophomore here at NJIT as a full-time student, majoring in Information Technology, Cyber Security. I believe that this program is ideally suited to my background, talents, and career aspirations. I am highly motivated and possess a burning interest in Information Technology (IT) and related subjects. At this present time I am seeking an internship at an entry level position – an IT tech assistant or similar – with a reputable organization that will provide me with exposure and on-the job experience in the field of Computers and IT. I am confident that I can make a valuable contribution to the host organization, whilst acquiring further skills, knowledge and expertise in my career of choice.
My specific career objective is to be successful in the field of Security Technology. In the longer term I see myself working as an Information System Analyst or involved in Cyber Security, employed by a large enterprise, especially the government. I am exceptionally computer literate and have some experience in Linux, Python and the C++ programming languages. I am working hard to further improve my knowledge of those languages and to learn others, including JavaScript and MySQL. I can also repair and troubleshoot computer hardware. I am fluent in English, French and Fulani (spoken in many African countries).
As an individual I am very enthusiastic and have an outgoing personality. I enjoy playing football, listening to music, and helping out at my father’s shop. I have already accomplished much in my life and look forward to accomplishing much more in the future. I am an excellent team player and look forward to working with like-minded others.
