As our valued client, we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude for your continued patronage for the past several years. In line with the recent management decision, this letter serves as a formal notice to inform you that there will be exciting changes in the current Rewards Program implemented by the hotel to continuously improve our service and achieve client satisfaction which will take effect three months from today.
Part of the changes in the Rewards Program is the increase in the number of points to enjoy the free overnight stay. To be able to avail our promo for an overnight stay at out hotel, we have increased the required points from 9,000 to 15,000. Aside from this, the management also decided that the rewards points earned by our clients will now expire after two years in the absence of any purchase activity at the Prestigio. Another major decision of the management is to discontinue its affiliation with the Galaxy Hotel Alliance in order to concentrate on improving our service to our valued clients.
For the past several years, as one of our Elite status members we have been providing you with free Wi-Fi access in our hotel rooms as part of your exclusive privileges. We have also given you free access to the Prestige lounge to avail free snacks, drinks in the lounge and even free in-room snacks and other amenities. However, to be able to keep up with the rising management and operational expenses just like our competitors, we would like to inform you that as an Elite status member, you are still entitled to enjoy these services and amenities for a fee at a discounted rate of 50 percent.
As we strive to consistently live up to our reputation in providing excellent service, we are happy to announce that we have created a new and improved business lounge now has computer terminals to allow our members to surf the internet and check their emails, free Wi-Fi access for their gadgets, a mini-bar, and other services. Our August special promos remain unchanged and this includes weekend getaways for rooms at a minimal cost of $119 per night, which is exclusively offered only to our Elite status members.
