The introduction section of this paper will provide the definitions of stress. The impacts of stress can be mentioned in this section however not in a very detailed manner. The manner in which stress exacerbates a range of health conditions is also introduced. The different types of stress such as the acute or chronic can also be introduced.
In this section, the different causes of stress are discussed. An in-depth discussion on the causes of stress is discussed. They may include a wide-ranging set of reasons such as long working hours, too much responsibility, risk of termination of the job to mention a few Firth-cozens and Payne(1999, p. 12-26).
Stress related illnesses
Some of the stress-related illnesses such as high blood pressure and heart disease. According to. Stroke can be as a result of prolonged or frequent mental stress thereby causing an extreme increase in blood pressure according to Koslowsky et al. (1995, pg. 45).
Impact of the increasing level of stress in modern life
In this section, the extent to which the increasing levels of stress in modern life is responsible for the worsening of the health of individuals is discussed. The impacts can be ranging from the effects on the immune systems, the impacts on our feeding habits, and the impacts of the sleeping disturbances as a result of stress are also discussed.
