Westchester Medical Center, the organization in charge in this case, aims to find a supplier for all the hospital bed and other hospital tool needs. Considering this main objective, the entire project can be divided into two major components, the first one being the hospital bed provision component and the second one the hospital tools provision component. The Westchester Medical Center, being a tertiary medical institution, would most likely require different hospital bed designs. Some of the most common types of beds are Manual, Semi-Electric, Full-Electric, Bariatric, Orthopedic, and Surgical Beds. There are of course other more types of custom-made hospital beds but these are the ones most commonly used in hospitals. The main goal of the Hill-Rom in this case would be to meet the changing hospital bed and tools demand of Westchester Medical Center. It goes without saying that the hospital bed and tools that will be procured and supplied by the organization must be durable and made by a reputable supplier.
