How Swedish Societies, Organizations And Communities Have Developed In The UK The Last 100 Years And Their Importance?

Introduction
The Swedish societies, organizations, and communities have in the United Kingdom in the last 100 years in different ways. This development has been elemental in the UK in various sectors. Some of the elemental Swedish communities that have developed over these years include the Swedish BV society and the Anglo-Swedish Society. These two societies developed gradually, and their development has been of utmost importance to the United Kingdom. For instance, the BV society developed from the London Scandinavian Society in the initial years of the 1880s. On the other hand, the Anglo-Swedish founded after the First World War and its establishment aimed to foster greater friendship and understanding between Sweden and Britain. The development of these societies, organizations, and communities was important in the fostering and building of relationships among different regions in the United Kingdom. These relationships were significant in various aspects such as trade, commerce, politics, and security among others. The developed societies and communities went through a distinct chronology that had great significance in their existence, position, and relationship in the United Kingdom. This chronology also explains the various components that facilitated or encompassed this development.

Aims and Objectives

Methodology
The first aspect will entail identifying the individual societies, organizations and communities, such as the Swedish BV Society and the Anglo-Swedish Society. Identifying these societies will involve looking through literary material and secondary resources such as the internet. Two or more societies will be selected for the dissertation to allow for diversity and eliminate issues of biases. After the identification, there will be an intensive tracing of the development of these societies. This part will be the longest because it will encompass the identification of the origin of each society. This origin will be the year of formation, the individuals that facilitated the formation and the venue of formation. Second, tracing the development will involve an analysis of the progress of the society throughout the years in terms of the leadership, the organizational changes, and the influence of the region, which is the United Kingdom.
After identifying these aspects, there will be an analysis of the importance of each of these societies in the United Kingdom region. This importance will cut across various sectors including the political, social and economic aspects. Most of the importance will, however, dwell on the influence of these societies on the relationships among the United Kingdom countries. It will be essential to include this element because of the degree of the influence or importance. The identification of these pieces of information will involve the use of the secondary sources such as the internet.
The methodology will also involve the identification of the role of the media in these developments. The media are an important tool in every society, which represents different aspects of life. Among these aspects, gender is a crucial sector that unveils itself in many media representations. There is a difference in representation of both genders in the media. This difference cuts across different social aspects and activities in the societies. Different countries in the United Kingdom also have a different representation of genders in the media depending on the cultural aspects, laws and ways of life in those countries. Sport is a major social aspect in every society hence a potential area of analysis for these kinds of media representations.
There will be the identification of several structural factors that were elemental in the changes of the processes of development. The process denotes the actual operations and functions of the individuals that facilitated these developments. In addition, there will be a precise identification of the structural factors, and all other factors that related to the process as well as either barriers or facilitators to effective and efficient development of these Swedish communities, organizations, and societies in the United Kingdom. One of these factors to be analyzed will be the development of a multidisciplinary team to handle the individual developments. Interpretation of these multidisciplinary inputs into development management and assessment concerning the maintenance of activities of the developed organizations, communities, and societies by the teams precisely gives examples. Analysis of data will involve the coding of the qualitative data into themes, which were in turn organized into categories. The organization into categories employed Donabedian’s concepts of outcome, process, and structure. These categories will be used in discussing the qualitative results. Therefore, there will be an incorporation of the theoretical concepts of Donabedian in discussing the qualitative results.

Literature Review

The first literary material is by Fagrell et al. that talk about the proceedings of the initiatory meeting of the British and Swedish Angiology Societies. This literature will be important because it will provide an avenue for the discussion of the role of communication in the development of the societies. Second, the literature by Gilmour talks about the experience of Sweden in the Second World War. This literature material will be important for the discussion of factors that facilitated the development of these communities.

Scope and Constraints

This dissertation will center on the development of Swedish societies, organizations, and communities in the UK. These societies will be analyzed clearly to identify their importance in the region. This importance will be in the economic, political, and social sectors. The role of communication in the development will also be of importance to the dissertation. Communication refers to all the messages that individuals receive and send for various purposes like running businesses, managing organization, conducting development projects among others.
The concept of communication is governed by the formalities as against social and personal communication. The success of development projects or organizations is largely dependent on effective and efficient communication. communication takes place among the business entities, in marketplaces and markets, within the organizations, and various groups of individuals such as sellers and buyers, customers and service providers, employees and owners, prospects and salespersons, and between individuals within organizations. All these avenues of communication had an influence on the development because done with utmost care; they can enhance the development of such societies, organizations, and communities. Nevertheless, failure to identify the required avenue of communication can portray the involved organization or society in poor light, which may affect the interests of the development.
Communication is at the core of any given organization and aims to effect changes of influencing actions, such as development of societies. Nevertheless, organizations have a major problem of maintaining effective processes of communication. This problem of management leads to poor and ineffective communication. Misunderstanding of orders during such developments can result in mistakes. The basic issue in communication is that its meaning that individuals have to understand may not be what the sender intended. In addition, individuals must understand that speakers and listeners are two distinct individuals with limitations that can lead to distortion of a number of things, especially information passing between them.
When individuals within organizations communicate with each other, they promote internal communication. They promote this internal communication to work as teams and realize common goals. It could be unofficial or official. The various modes of communication employment in the development of these societies, communities, and organizations include written and face-to-face communication. Meetings, fax, video, office orders, circulars, reports, and memos are some of the examples of the internal communication. When individuals communicate with others outside the organizations, they promote external communication. These individuals may be customers or clients, distributors or dealers. The public, government, and the media among others are some of the examples of external communication. All these avenues of communication will be employed in the discussion of the role of the media in the development of the Swedish societies, organizations, and communities.
The first constraint is likely to surface in the theoretical and methodological limitations. That is; data can be collected from only four facilities, which exist in one geographical location. Secondly, the focus groups of the study could only be studied during the day shifts and with members of staff who could take time away from their care activities. Therefore, there is a possibility of misrepresentation of the information. There could be instances of bias. For instance, the practice changes may mainly come from reports of the staff, which could have been subject to desire to please investigators, thus enhancing recall bias in the study. Lastly, despite evidence presentation relating to the development of these practices, the use of post and pre-study designs provide weak evidence. Moreover, using chart documentation may not effectively reflect the actual practices. Another constraint is insufficient funds and resources.

Resources

Resources for the dissertation will come from funding from volunteers as well as personal savings. These resources will be channeled in the dissertation to facilitate the process of identifying and collecting information on the development of these organizations and societies. The process will encompass elements such as research.

The dissertation will include the title, an introduction, the aims and objectives, the methodology, a detailed literature review, the scope and constraints, the resources, the timetable, and the references.
Timeline
The dissertation is anticipated in three weeks. During this period, collection and analysis of information will have been made.
