Abstract
The debate today continues to rage over euthanasia and whether a physician should be in charge of ending the life of another person. Students of history know that societies who devalue human life even in the smallest amount tend to devalue human life in greater proportions later. While many religions hold different ideals and values, most of them can agree that physician-assisted suicide/euthanasia is something to be opposed.
