Question 1A reference dose refers to the estimate of a continuous inhalation that humans are exposed to including the factor of uncertainty. The reference dose also includes subgroups that may be sensitive to the nature of inhalation (Hsu, C.-H, & Stedeford, 2010, p. 23).
