What is Kant’s notion of personhood, and how does he get there? Can you relate to it? Why/why not? Kant opines that humans are different from other animals based on three things; the ability to reason, human, knowledge, and the moral duty. Kant analyzed the abilities of humans as opposed to the rest of things, and concludes that only humans can reason, have knowledge, and moral duty upon each other. I can identify with this thinking since I have moral duty towards others, can reason, and make choices based on my knowledge.
