The Waldorf Astoria is one of the finest properties in Park City. It is run by the Hilton chain of hotels. It is located at Park City Utah, amidst the splendid Wasatch Mountains. The building has an old world charm and portrays a timeless elegance with modern luxuries. It is an all season’s luxury hotel offering adventure, sports and tranquil relaxation. It is located a mere 35 minutes from Salt Lake City Airport, There are over 4000 acres of mixed terrain offering a host of outdoor activities. This alpine backdrop boasts a huge variety of free growing wild plants and flowers and also animals like deer, elk and moose, free in their natural habitat. The hotel provides fine dining experiences as well as amazing shopping opportunities mixed with thrilling local cultural events. It is the recipient of a number of international awards like The Forbes travel guide award, Condé Nast Traveler Gold List Top Hotel in Utah, 2014, Travel & Leisure, The World’s Best Hotels, 2014.

Guest rooms:

There are 172 air-conditioned rooms. Each room is equipped with basic amenities like fireplaces, iPod docking stations, wifi internet, 42 inch flat screen televisions, in-room movie demand, bolster pillow, blackout curtains, bathrooms with bath tubs, showers, bath robes, hair dryers, slippers, safes, tea/coffee makers, mattresses and pillows. Housekeeping is done daily.
Standard Rooms offer a choice of one king or two queen beds in around 300 square feet of space. Additional features are balcony, adjustable thermostat, 24 hour housekeeping, Iron with ironing board, surge protected desk electrical outlets, telephone voice mail, mini refrigerator, wet bar, desk level phone jacks, telephone auto wake up.
One bedroom to three bedroom suites: suites offer comfortable accommodation for 4-10 persons ranging between 740 to 1600 square feet of space. This includes a full kitchen, a full sized washer cum dryer, a dining table and two gas fireplaces. The kitchen offers a granite countertop with space for additional seating, microwave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and dish ware. Bathrooms have European showers with jetted bath tubs.
One bedroom suites provide 740 square feet of space to accommodate 4. Additional features are a king master bedroom and double sofa bed. There is a seating area, dining table and chairs, balcony, bathroom television, Waldorf Astoria bed.
2 Bed Suites accommodate 8 persons with 1230 square feet of space. It includes one king and two queen bedrooms. , dining table with chairs and three gas fireplaces.
3 Bedroom suites house 10 persons in 1600 square feet of space. Includes one king, one queen, a third bedroom, living room with queen sofa bed, balcony and five gas fireplaces.
Waldorf Astoria Suite is a custom made with 2100 square feet of space. Flooring is of hardwood and colorful artwork. The master bedroom contains one king bed, a living room and built in cupboards. The other bedroom has two queen beds. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom. There are three private balconies which afford stunning views of the Wasatch mountains and snyderville basin. There is a dining table which seats eight. There is a separate full living area.


The restaurant at The Waldorf Astoria is called POWDER. It has a seating for 30 guests. It offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and also a bar. For breakfast there is a full buffet available, which offers berries, fresh sliced and whole fruit includes juice, scrambled organic eggs, applewood bacon, turkey sausage, breakfast potatoes, smoked scottish salmon daily assortment of toast, bagels, pastries, yogurt, granola, fresh and coffee. Then there are separate items like made to order eggs and bruleed grapefruit. Also on the menu are specialty breakfasts like The Benedict, which comprises of ham, spinach, hollandaise and breakfast potatoes. There is also the Mountain Breakfast, which has organics eggs, applewood bacon, ham, turkey sausages, potatoes and toast. Also one can additionally chose from asides like sticky buns, grapefruit, warm banana bread and red bull. The restaurant caters to mostly in-house clients for breakfast.
The lunch menu at POWDER offers appetizers, soups and salads, main course, with entry dishes and desserts. The main course provides a choice of wagyu steak fritters, roasted organic chicken, Utah trout among other things. Room guests and groups from nearby hotels avail of the lunch at Powder, especially in the winter season where large groups of skiers visit this restaurant.
Dinner menu offers the same courses as the lunch menu. Some dishes on the main course are Kurobuta pork rack, seared Branzino, wild mushroom pasta,and wagyu bavette steak. In-house residents, locals and holiday makers avail of the dinner service at the Powder.
The bar menu offers a selection of the best spirits and wines from across the world. In addition, it offers a variety of finger foods and snack to accompany the beverages.
There is also a barbeque called scoop Sweets and grill, which offers various ice creams, sorbets, gelato, barbeque items and a full fledged bar. It is located at the poolside and is open during the summer months.

Meeting spaces:

The Hotel offers an amazing location for meetings and events. One can customize the seating arrangements to suit their requirements. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The meeting areas boast large windows which afford stupendous views of the surrounding mountains. There are plush leather chairs and the latest in business equipment including integrated sound systems for conference calls and electronic whiteboards. Plus the hotel’s catering service presents mouthwatering banquets to suit everyone’s appetite.

Recreation and Fitness: Complimentary Shuttle Service – Provides free bus service to the towns’ major attractions and ski resorts.
Waldorf Gondola – The heated gondola is located very close to the hotel and provides accessibility to over 4000 acres of outdoor recreational space.
Waldorf Astoria Fitness Centre – Provides the latest state of art fitness equipment. There is an option of taking a personal trainer or taking part in an exercise class.
Outdoor Heated Pool – Open throughout the year at a temperature of 89 degrees Fahrenheit, this pool provides an unforgettable experience amidst the mountainous view.
Canyons Resort Golf Course - 18 hole course. Over 550 feet of elevation. Four sets of trees at each hole. The 10th hole has a 297 feet elevation from tee to green. Hole 18 has an island surrounded by a stream. Turf and fairways are of blue grass and greens are bent grass.


Canyons Resort is located adjacent to the hotel and is reachable through the gondola. It offers skiing and snowboarding during winter and horseback riding, hiking and cycling during summer.

Deer Valley Resort is an exclusive skiing resort just 15 minutes away from the Waldorf Astoria.

Park city Mountain Resort has one of the world’s largest alpine slide and the only alpine roller coaster in Utah.
Local Concerts and Festivals: There are always a constant stream of concerts and festivals held throughout the year. Park City also hosts the North America’s largest independent film festival, the Sundance film festival.

Outdoor sports include, cycling, hiking, and horseback riding, snowboarding and skiing.

Waldorf Astoria spa offers various packages for relaxation. From massages to treatments to Ayurveda. Also available are beauty treatments which include full service hair and nail treatments.
