Important People in the history of Yosemite

Yosemite is one of our country's most esteemed national parks. But, Yosemite's implication has not generally been acknowledged. Before 1890, just a little section of today's 1,200-square-mile park was ensured by government (Kaiser 87). With this information, before 1864, none of it was under the rule of law. The park played an important role in the lives of the general public. As such, land filled a monetary need and was intended to be utilized for mining, farming, logging, or feeding domesticated animals. From this information, there are various people who have been at the forefront to help in the development of the Yosemite National Park.

He is undoubtedly the most significant person in the account of Yosemite National Park. It is said that he was the first to become the President of the Sierra Club. The club was mainly created to help in the preservation and the protection of the park. It was believed to be a source of livelihood to the people residing close to the park and the general public.

Galen Clark
