The post appropriately sums up the employee benefits mentioned in the Affordable Care Act. It is true that some companies try to avoid the cost of extra employee benefits by resorting to methods like making the workers put in a lot of overtime or by hiring part-time workers in order to minimize the legal implications of employee benefits. Although the companies may be able to save cost in this manner, they are only successful in the short-term. In the long term, the commitment to the employee's matters and that devotion and zeal are achieved by rewarding the employees according to the efforts being put in by them. Only when they find a direct relationship between effort and reward will they be able to motivate themselves. It is one of the fundamental concepts behind motivational theories.
Worker’s compensation insurance can be considered as one of the fundamental rights of a worker who has agreed to work in hazardous conditions. Sometimes, the maxim ‘violent not fit injuria’ is used in civil law cases. This maxim means that he who is willing is not injured. However, logic and reason dictate that this maxim should not be operational in the case of employment. It is common knowledge to all that oil and gas companies pay more to engineers who have to live on far-away sites to carry out oil extraction activities. They are compensated for the unfriendly environment with which they have to deal while carrying out the work.
Also, Family Medical Leave is extremely important.
