Every president makes decisions that may turn successfully or blunder to the country, in every case they must act with contradictory limited information and the little advice. For President Truman, the decision of whether to drop the bomb or not was a burning issue. From several sources, there are reasons why the Japan encounters bomb attacks, and other sources do not support the move by Truman. . It was on August 6, 1945, at 8:15 a.m. An American B-29 dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. For few minutes, Japan’s eighth largest city was demolished. Over 140,000 people had died from the bomb’s effects by the end of that year. After the bombing had been accomplished, the United States publicized that Japan encountered a rain of ruin from the air that has never occurred on this earth. The atomic bomb had previously been tested in (Manhattan project). It was dropped in Japan because they did not want to surrender the war, When Harry Truman confirmed the Manhattan Project, and he chose decision of unprecedented gravity. The ability to end the war lied on the U.S powers, but it would include releasing the most dangerous weapon ever known. For Truman, the choice to use the atomic bomb was the utmost hard conclusion of his life. From different sources, there are various perspectives analyzing about the incident of Japan.
Many questions have disturbed American historians so much relating to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The questions are if the attacks accelerated the end of the war and spared the lives of millions of Japanese and American militants and civilians? Or, did the United States sarcastically use these sophisticated weapons alongside a previously overpowered Japan in order to amaze the Soviet Union with American authority?

The bomb was used to reach confidently the Japanese people, who were prepared to fight to the last man for the sovereign, as women and children equipped themselves with bamboo sticks to battle off The Americans. The decision to drop the bomb was because Truman desired to avoid the unbelievable loss of life if the Allied powers attacked Japan, which was approximately one million. Checking from American fatalities through the island hopping movement at Iwo Jima and Okinawa, the bomb was away to anyone on the Allied side that is who were still in the Japan. The Americans who were still in combat at Honshu and Kyushu also died after releasing the first two bombs. It enables Japan understand that their whole country might just get demolishment if they did not deliver absolute submission to the Allied Powers, evading even bigger losses of human life against the approx. 210,000 Japanese who lost their lives in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The Allies in late July 1945 acknowledged at Potsdam that the Japanese need to submit entirely. After Japanese leaders ultimately overruled the Potsdam Declaration, President Truman approved the use of the atomic bomb any time after August 3, 1945. That was the explanation for the decision. Mixed racism towards the Japanese was not the decision to drop the bomb. There were more that could have been done, or maybe they just drop the bomb on an unoccupied island to move the Japanese to submission, but that's not what happened.
The nuclear assault was a cruel and dangerous physical harassment on a previously overpowered opponent. Subsequent to the first bomb dropping on Hiroshima on 6 August, the Americans showed severe annoyance by not staying a bit longer to drop the second bomb, unleashed on Nagasaki after days. More than one hundred thousand Japanese died, and thousands extra were wounded or disillusioned with radiation.
Truman concern about the effectiveness of the bomb was at stake. It was a substitute for the slow and expensive weapons used by armies since they had to trudge across Asia. It also subtracted the complex harmonization necessary for deliberate military plans. It also substituted the complications intrinsic in Russian participation in the Pacific. Even though Stalin promised to announce war on Japan at the beginning of August 1945, the bomb was a substantially simpler and beneficial to military option for the Americans. Though, it was also prevailing enough to eliminate a whole society and unconditionally beat Japan into surrender. The corresponding of using a two-ton wrecking ball to defeat an unsteady tree house, the atomic bomb was extra competent than conservative weapons. Truman resolute to use the most powerful atomic bomb was displayed of power–purposely so that Americans can take credit for bringing the war to an unstable and indisputable end.

In August 1945, World War II was just over. Japanese envoys were in Switzerland trying to arbitrate the agreements to end the war. A US attack on Japan had remained deferred in July 1945 after the high US victims continued after the Battle of Okinawa. An Allied naval obstruction of Japan was working to speed the end of the war. And on August 9, 1945 the Russians waged war and attacked Japan. Truman was conscious that Russia would engage in the war on this date as per the arrangement made amid the US and Russia at the Yalta Session. It was Russia's appearance into the war that convinced the Japanese military leadership to give in. Eventually, there was no realistic reason, from a military opinion, to drop two atomic bombs on 200,000 civilians while ending already won the war. The stimulus for using the atomic bombs was chiefly an opportunity to test out the weapon. After all, there was no other chance for the US government to test out WMDs on enemy cities and people in a whole war. After Russia joins the war, then it was just a matter of time for Japan to submit. It was done or dies for him to make use of the atomic bomb in the war. It was not an accident that the Russians confirmed war on and attacked the Empire of Japan on August 9. Something that Truman was aware, whereas the blasting of Hiroshima was on 6th August, and blasting of Nagasaki was on 9th August.
However, President Harry S Truman and his close personal assistance were gripped with the atomic bomb since it assured the United States a place as the acknowledged victor of the war, autonomous of Soviet support. It was critical of both leader Franklin D. Roosevelt, and his descendant Truman was unwilling to admit military aid from communist countries like Russia. More outstandingly, they denied surrendering the Russians postwar results could have followed that wartime help. As it remained, the U.S.-Soviet unity during World War II was uncomfortable at best. Roosevelt, Truman, and many U.S. legislators aggressively feared the increase of communism. Confirmation of this hesitation was established internally during the time of war in antiradical legislation, plus the McCormack Act, Hatch Act, and Smith Act. At the end of the war, America’s prejudice of communists both domestic and worldwide had reached magnificent size.
Truman engaged what historians have named “atomic diplomacy.” Meaning he used the bomb as an alternate to arbitrating with Stalin. The thinking of Truman is that the bomb implied many things to Stalin like United States had beaten Japan without Soviet assistance. Therefore, not be compelled to award Stalin postwar concessions and again the America was dominant in the atomic race. It would make Stalin believe that Truman had a destructive tool and was not frightened to use it.

Personal point of view

Conclusion
There is a bit contradiction between the two sources. When you look keenly at the reasons why Truman used the atomic bomb in the Japan, the first source claims that Japan was rude in surrendering the war to allies after negating with the USA. The second source views that the Truman had the clear intention of dropping the bomb, and they are attaching it to discrimination and revenge after the previous battles where his soldiers died. In general, it was the war where all the sides wanted to win only to cause deaths of many Japanese people. Many questions have disturbed American historians so much relating to the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The questions are if the attacks accelerated the end of the war and spared the lives of millions of Japanese and American militants and civilians, or it was meant to show the supremacy of the Americans.
