Through my experience in working with a nurse leader, I have realized that nursing leadership is a long-term credibility of working, practicing and achieving a real client and patient care. Nursing leadership means being able to delegate efficiently and supervise others. One of the leadership theories, that the nurse leader kept on subscribing, was the relationship theory. In building relationship and trust, there is provision of foundation in which trust, fairness and respect rest. This ensures that there is a fair relationship between a nurse leader and her superiors. It also makes other nurses see the need of fulfilling their potential in the job and ensuring they deliver the best. My experience with the nurse leader was very impressive. She was one of the seasoned critiqued nurse leaders with full leadership responsibilities; she always had a great sense of humor. I was always impressed by her because she was always reading inspirational books when she was free for example she loved reading the book ‘gifted hand ‘by Ben Carson.
American association of critical care nurse (AACN) is a nursing organization that Ensures all the member obtains benefits. Such as, timely relevant clinical information, unlimited free credit card, discounts on products and services, eligible for a wide range research and award, insurance benefits, and disability incomes. The opportunities available in this organization is that one can work as a nurse as a doctor, surgical nurse, security guard, one can also be and also a student or a lecturer. This organization is involved in less political issue but it works in accordance with the American nursing association, and the office of the president in ensuring proper nurse care and training are done. The organization go about working within the political system but not interfering with any authorized activities. It also understands the key to being effective leader understands the politics within an organization. In sometimes, leaders make a decision just to distance themselves from politics but at long last it turns out they have difficulty achieved some of the political goals.
