Good Essay About My Future Role As A Teacher

As a future teacher, I believe, I play a key role in inspiring and motivating my students. Like a sun that shines and passes on light energy all over the earth, I believe a teacher is one who passes on his values, beliefs and thus legacy to the learners through his words and action. Producing moral influence upon others rather than authoritative influence produces sustainable results; moral influencing is about pulling the crowd rather than pushing. I would try to attract followers who are truly influenced by my teaching. I understand my behavior and manners teach my students more than my classroom lectures. Learners are more inspired by the dedication to excellence of the teachers and look forward to getting advice and guidance from them (Teachers as role models). Hence, I see self renewal on a continuous basis toward equipping me to cause a positive influence on the students is the key challenging role I face as a teacher.
An oak seed has got the potential of growing into a giant oak tree. But it needs an external agent to enhance its growth. In the absence of good soil, water and other agents the seed may get destroyed and never develop into a mighty tree. Similarly, I believe each and every individual born on the earth have the potential of becoming successful. Therefore, a teacher has the role of facilitating a student, who is more like an oak seed, to grow into a tree. Students have immeasurable potentials to grow, provided they get the right inspiration and training. More often, the students themselves do not realize that they have such vast potential in them to grow, and nor do their parents. I understand it is my responsibility to discover the potential in each and every student of mine and help them grow. In other words, each and every individual born on the earth has a purpose in life and many a time people do not recognize their call, and it is the role of a teacher to help them achieve individual learners their life’s purpose.
Therefore, nurturing the learners through positive energy is the key to develop them, for which I, as a teacher, need to sharpen my skills each and every day. Therefore I realize my journey as a teacher is more like a learning for me as well. In the process of supplying positive energy to my students, I would become a better person day by day. Thus, making myself a better person than I used to be by learning new things to augment my spiritual reserves, which continues to influence my students, is the foundation to my future profession as a teacher.
