Marketing has become a relevant tool in modern business management particularly with revolution in communication, product promotion and marketing technology. It requires one to have acquired certain skills and experiences in order to succeed as business person or manager. The main reason I wish to apply for a position in this school to be considered for this marketing course is to enable me acquires effective and useful marketing and managerial skills. My future career is working as a marketer; therefore I need to be well equipped with the relevant skills in these areas. Moreover, I have previously worked as an intern in the areas of sales, marketing and customer management with three different companies. These include East Hope Group in Shanghai China where I worked as a sales and marketing intern in May 2013, Card Machine Outlet as an e-commerce intern in February 2013 and China Minsheng Bank as a customer manager intern in May 2014.
Moreover, I believe that attending this course in this institution will enable me to rise improve my academic credentials that will prove invaluable as one of the requirements for entry into future marketing career. I also believe this course will improve my communication skills and widen my scope of appreciation of different aspects of marketing communication.
Further, a consideration for this marketing course will enable me achieves my main life objective of securing a marketing job or internship where I can learn how to market certain products to clients and consumers in real world situation. I also believe the course will equip me with teamwork, interpersonal, imagination or creativity and analytical numeracy skills that are prerequisites for current and future marketing career job entry. Additionally, attending this course if considered will enable me to learn more about social media advertising, product design, email marketing, consumer behavior, mobile marketing, content management t system and customer relationship management.
Furthermore, I also believe that my current GPA standings from Pennsylvania State University where I currently pursue degree in economics and psychology will enable me to comfortably take on marketing course classes based on knowledge acquired so far in business economics. I currently have a GPA of 3.4/4.0. Additionally, I possess a PCM Certification from the American Marketing Association and I strongly believe this attests to my ability and interest to excel in this course is offered an opportunity or placement in this institution.
I am also convinced that there are specific aspects of this school or institution’s marketing course program that will assist or enable me achieve my goals. Specifically, these elements include the school’s experienced professors and tutors, flexible but thorough marketing curriculum, and extra-curricular activities that will enable me be an all-rounded person. I am therefore confident that the learning resources and serene environment available in your institution will enable me to take my academic and future marketing career to the next level.

My experience with instructors in previous courses has enabled me to appreciate and acquire various life skills which I believe I will also acquire in this course. Further, my experience in a variety of working environments has helped me acquire practical skills such as oral and written communication, behavior, creativity and management. While working as an intern at East Hope Groups as a sales and marketing intern, for instance, I was able to analyze product sales, market analysis and consumer behavior patterns and how these affect marketing.
