The Answer is: The broadcast on “Hanukkah, and A Rediscovery of Jewish Customs” talks about several stories as well as the perspective book designer called Scott-Martin Kosofsky. It also explores Jewish rituals, scriptures, traditions, and prayers. What is most interesting to me is coming to discover various stories and theories surrounding Jewish culture as well as their traditions. This broadcast defines each detail about the Jewish Traditions thus helping to know much about the Jewish traditions and cultures.
The Answer is: The “anti-Semitism” is the term that was used to show the persisted hatred of Jews by the Germany and its allies. This hatred was a form of racism that attributed the negative trait of all the Jews. By understanding this concept of anti-Semitism, we get to learn more about some attributes of Judaism and why the reason as to why those characteristics exists.
The Answer is: By the author saying, “While Judaism is not the religion of a single people, the Jews are a people with a single religion”, he meant that Judaism was a religion that was composed of several people or rather several groups of people. On the other side, Jews were only made up of a single religion. This means that Judaism was not only made up of Jews alone but with other groups of people.
The answer is: the role-played by home in the Jewish American in that it is where most important moments in the lives of the Jewish American took place. These included festival means at the Passover. Synagogue on the other hand was the temple. This is ware religious studies such as the study of the Torah took place. Furthermore, it is where the ark that contains the scrolls of the Torah is kept and it served as a place of worship for the Jewish Americans. On the other hand, pilgrimage, which is the journey that was undertaken for religious reason, also had an important role in the lives of the Jewish Americans. The Jewish Americans went on this long journey for the sacrificial purposes, as well as to visit most significant and religious places.
