They are also increasing social media presence by the use of mobile phone platforms. Mobile phones are able to reach many people at a time because almost every person in the modern society own s a mobile device.

Marketers have realized that social media marketing is an essential part of any marketing campaigns. Social media presence has been on the increase every year and therefore marketing on social media platforms is important to enable marketers to reach audiences. A large percentage of modern consumers of various products are active social media users.

The use of telemarketing has benefited businessmen by increasing lead generation which has helped businesses increase sales volumes and customer base. Mobile phone apps push notifications transmit direct messages to its users either automatically or as part of the campaign. Federal Telephone Consumers Protection Act prohibits contacting an individual without a prior consent for all calls limiting the number of customers reached. In addition customers may ignore calls and marketing messages. Introduction of mobile app locks has blocked rich push notifications that appear on mobile phones containing marketing information.
As far as the digital analytics development in IT is concerned, a trend is observed for IT budget increase on the so called “social listening”, also regarded as “online reputation management”. The modern companies tend to be willing to spend more on the marketing activities, allowing to learn the customers’ habits and responsiveness to particular social media opportunities.
In respect of the digital analytics, it is highly important to exploit the new marketing possibilities, offered by the modern technologies. Since the implementation of such social networks principle as filling out the personal data and checking in across the whole web with one account, the possibility has been offered to the businesses to track and analyze the experience of the customers in form of the modified internet surfing record. Modern researchers and marketers shall utilize what is called the most efficient approach: stressing the advantages of contextual advertising and personalized content for each customer, based on his interests and habits, identified upon the social network data and most viewed apps and pages log analysis.
