Abstract
The family unit is a fundamental unit of the society. It is the basic unit of the interactions within any social system. Therefore, the understanding of the family is essential comprehend the working of all types of a society. A family is traditionally considered a social unit comprising of parents, their children and relatives. However, is blood relation only enough to define family?
