Evaluations For Maritza Case Studies Example
Type of paper: Case Study
Topic: Evaluation, Goals, Family, Children, Future, Relationships, Effective, Improvement
If this was the first run of Maritza’s program and you conducted a formative evaluation, what would you expect the evaluation to reveal? How would this help Maritza for the future of her program?
The formative evaluation approach will be used in order to examine how the intervention done by Maritz was implemented, and also it will check the various outcomes of the interventions. The formative evaluation will be able to reveal whether the intervention plan that is been applied by Maritza produces the intended results from the clients. The intervention will also be able to find the problems with the intervention plan used and will find other ways to modify the problem (Patton, 2008). The modification from the intervention will help in the future of the intervention programs done by Maritza.
If you were to conduct a process evaluation on Maritza’s program, what would your overarching goal(s) be and why?
The process evaluation program can be stated to be the implementation assessment. The main goal of the program is to analyze whether the program operations are effectively implemented (Weiss, 1998). The other goal is to examine the service delivered by Maritza in the company. The main reasons for the objectives of this evaluation are to check on how the services offered is organized and whether it is arranged well. A well-organized program of intervention will help both the clients and Maritza.
Think about some of the objectives of this program. Follow the text’s examples to write two or three effective objectives for this program. If an outcome evaluation was done on those objectives, what would you expect the results to show? How would you know the program is effective in achieving those objectives for their clients?
The main objectives of the program are to help the women and children to start a relationship with one another after separation because of the mothers being imprisoned. When the mothers, are imprisoned the family dynamics has changed, and the order of the house has also changed. In this program, the women will be taught on how to reconnect with their children despite the changes in their lives. The Major objective for the program is to help the clients in improving their lives. The outcome evaluation is claimed to be a systematic examination of the changes that occur during the implementation of the program (Weiss, 1998). In this case, the outcome evaluation will be used to assess the effectiveness of the objectives of the programs and its benefits to the program. The evaluation will also suggest some improvement methods in areas where the program has problems for future of the program.
After the evaluation, there should be changes in the program, where there were problems in the objectives and the clients should be able to start some relationship with their children. The program will be effective when the clients are able to sit in the same room smiling. The program is designed to help mothers who have been imprisoned and have lost their relationship with their children. The objectives of the program will be reached with consistency and continuous quality improvement (Patton, 2008). Continuous quality improvement will show results of how the clients are doing in the program and will help in future programs.
