The Earth, Moon And Sun Essay Examples
There exist relationship between the sun, the moon and the earth. These three bodies have the greatest impact in our lives. Each of the three has its distinct features that make it very important to the general life of our individuals. The earth is ideally the most important as it offers us a place to live in. the sun has the function of warming our planet while the moon is accredited for creating the tides in the ocean. The moon revolves the earth. On the other hand, the earth orbits around the sun. The universe therefore rotates and revolves at the same time. More specifically, the rising and setting of the sun in the east and west respectively is due to the rotation of the sun. The moon takes 29 days to complete an orbit around the earth.
Carbon is in every naturally occurring life on earth. Amongst all elements, carbon is inclusive. The rationale is that carbon is able to bond with most of all other elements that form life. It is light-weight and small in size. The moon, the earth and the sun are key components in ensuring that all requirements are present to ensure that there is a carbon-based life on earth. Carbon based life means that almost all of our body components that include hair, skin and cells comprise of molecules that have large amounts of carbon. Carbon easily bonds with any other particles.
In order to survive, energy is a prerequisite. The energy can be sourced from the most primary source which is the sun. The sun therefore provides the energy needed for production, metabolism and development of tissues and body cells. This makes it a very important aspect of life. It is critical to comprehend that all these processes that need the sun have an element of carbon in their composition. The sun also provides the heat and energy necessary for the growth of plants. Plants use sunlight in the manufacturing of food that is paramount to ensure their survival. In addition, the sun provides for evaporation of water from the surface of the earth. This reduces logging of water in the surface making it fit to live on the ground. Moreover, the water that evaporates falls down as rainfall and this helps growth of carbon related elements on the surface of the earth. These illustrations elaborate on the relationship between the sun and the earth and explain how the two interact to ensure that all requirements are present to support a carbon based life. The moon is responsible for creating tides on earth. Tides are very beneficial in creating a requirement to support life on earth. The alternating level of water in the sea makes it possible for people to mine the valuable minerals present in water. The minerals are useful in life as some are used as food for example salt. This is essential in all foods and helps support carbon based life. The current relationship between the three objects is essential in providing the requirements which support life. More specifically, the survival of most organisms on earth is dependent upon the moon and the sun. The sun forms a larger part as it covers the most active part of any organism. The sun rays are also very helpful to many molecules and atoms, as they help in the breakdown of critical components that support life.
