The whole action is happening in Bedford-Stuyvesant district of Brooklyn, one of the districts where mostly African-Americans live. The story is supported by the comments of Mister Senor Love Daddy, a radio DJ, whose station is also in the same district, right next to Famous Sal's Pizzeria and Korean shop.
