Question 2:

Bullying is not just going on with kids, teachers are bullying students and other kids as well.
Question 3:
The peer reviewed article I plan to use is called “Bully versus Bullied: A Qualitative Study of Students with Disabilities in Inclusive Settings”
Malian states “persons with disabilities should never be the subject of bullying because they are different from everyone else” (Malian, 2012, pg. 3)

Question 4:

Introduction: Bullying is an ongoing issue that many are forced to deal with because the problem still exists and now that teachers are in the mix with those who do the bullying, more help is needed more now than ever before. My claim is that there are teachers who join other children in bullying because it is their way to be a part of the “in crowd”. Teachers do not have any business bullying kids because either they are different, disabled or even for disciplinary reasons, teachers are supposed to be solution not part of the problem.
Background: Teachers have been bullying students and the school system is practically powerless to stop them, they choose to look the other way because they need teachers to teach the kids; reputation and background checks are not conducted on the teacher in question which makes it difficult for the kid.
Opposition: Teachers justify their “discipline” methods; children need to be shown that they are not running the show and using whatever measures necessary is king. A teacher does not bully students, they are taking a unique approach in disciplining the child when they do not do what they are supposed to do. It is not a question of what the teacher did, it is what the child did not do.
Warrants: The kids themselves are the ones telling the tales, the last thing that any adult does is listen to the child when they talk because of their “children should be seen and not heard” law which makes it hard for the child to properly address problems at school. The opposition warrants this as the child complaining about something they cannot control or how they were “robbed” of having their way about what they wanted, children are sent to school to learn and adapt accordingly; when they want to avoid the hot seat with mom and dad then they lie on the teacher saying that the teacher was very ugly to them for no reason.
Common ground between me and the opposition: Today’s children need to be taught that there are consequences for not doing what they are told when they are told to do it, a teacher’s right to discipline how they please should be left to the teacher’s discretion. Any disciplinary method that a teacher takes should not be quickly regarded as bullying if the kid did something wrong to rightfully invoke that teacher’s ire.
Conclusion: Teachers bullying students have been going on for way too long. The school systems hire random people, who ironically, are kids themselves and let them loose on other kids which then becomes a survival of the fittest competition with other kids. Parenthetically, this behavior is ignored when it comes to teachers because other teachers back up that one.
